Why do you need anonymous browsing?
anonymous browsing May 20th, 2008
You don’t always need it, but everyone has a right to anonymity and it’s getting harder to achieve these days on the internet, especially for average people. People always associate anonymity and online browsing with illegal or shady activities. It’s not always the case.
Anonymous browsing will often allow us to access sites which are otherwise restricted. Such as Myspace or Facebook at school or arcade sites from work. Network administrators are forced to block sites so students don’t waste time during class on such sites and of course also so employees don’t get paid to play games.
Web proxy websites allow you to still access these sites by breaking the direct link between you and the website and delivering the content to you. The process often slows down the delivery, but it’s still worth it and doesn’t cost you a penny!
